Allow your customers to influence the price of products
Sortal's influence feature allows customers to engage with the product page in several ways and actually reduce the product price. Price reduction is determined according to the Brand's pricing policy.
The inventory is limited and each customer is able to name their ideal price.
The goals of the price reduction process are:
- Increase fan involvement with the brand's product line
- Generate impulse purchases
- Offer products at reduced prices without harming brand positioning
How can users reduce the price of an item?
The influence feature can initiate price reduction using several activities. The merchant can choose the activity which generates the process (comment, like etc). Each activity can be posted to the wall. The merchant can limit the number of times each user can use the tool per day (e.g. two clicks per day).
The activities include:
- Writing a comment.
- Simple click on the product picture
- Bargaining
